I am going to sell my poverty

I am going to sell my poverty,

Yes,

Sell this baggage to the highest bidder,

Yes

This, is unpardonable ,this luggage

That weighs me down,

Carrying away my freedom,

Snatching my liberty

Shackling me,

Tethering me short,

Of my dreams and visions and freedom,

This ugly baggage!

Cast upon me by cruelty of this vicious circle,

I need to sing my own song,

Paddle my own canoe,

Freely in the ocean of unpolluted water,

These shackles must set me free, emancipate me

Yes

This time, all the way to the haven of wealth,

That is truly liquefiable!
